Students with a University of Pune B.A. English Degree AND with Maharashtra State DomicileStudents from other universities, and students from University of Pune without Maharasthra State Domicile

Applicants are admitted on the basis of their performance in the Optional English Papers only. The application forms are now available here. The last date for application is 15.07.2008. It is in the interest of applicants that they apply to other centers of the University of Pune as well. Applicants should provide either a domicile certificate, or, certificates for SSC and HSC from Maharashtra state.

The last date for application is 15.07.2008. A sample question paper is available with the Department of English for photocopying, and is available in the MSWord format here for downloading. The application forms are available here. The Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 24.07.08 at 11 a.m. Please note that no separate notification about admissions or other matters will be issued to applicants, you are expected to check this website, or the Department noticeboard for announcements. Students from Maharashtra state should provide a domicile certificate, or, certificates for SSC and HSC from Maharashtra state.

ATTENTION
Students without Maharashtra State domicile, or, without SSC and HSC from Maharashtra State will have to appear for the Entrance Test.

All international students have to seek admission through The International Center, University of Pune. Please contact The International Center for details.

Applicants are admitted after an Entrance Test. A sample question paper is available here in plain text format. The last date for application is 21.07.08. The Entrance Test will be held on 30.07.08 at 11 a.m.We usually get about 40/45 applications, and admit upto 24 students. For inquiries, please write to Professor Gokhale.
